After updating the Galaxy Tab S8+ series tablets with the October 2024 security package, it is now the turn of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus’s Wi-Fi variant to receive the update in the international market. Here are the details of the update:

The update available for the Wi-Fi model of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus comes with firmware version X610XXS6BXJ1. It appears that there are no new features included in this update; it solely provides improvements to the overall stability of the system.
Samsung elaborated in its security blog that the October 2024 security package addresses 42 security vulnerabilities affecting Galaxy smartphones and tablets in South Korea. Due to the presence of critical and high-risk flaws, the update is considered extremely important.
If you own a Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus and want to check if the October 2024 security package is available, simply go to the “Settings > Software Update” page and click on “Download and Install.”
